Select an open area away from puppy's food & bed.

Unfold then place pad on floor with blue plastic side down & white absorbent side up.

Place puppy on pad to allow him/her to smell the pad.

Allow puppy to relieve itself & reward with praise & a treat

Discourage chewing or playing with pad. If accident occurs, bring puppy to pad immediately & reinforce that the pad is a place to relieve itself. Repeat as needed until puppy is using regularly.

Dispose of soiled pads in trash & replace pad immediately.
