Gluten-Free Apple Cinnamon Bread
Perfect for munching at a fall brunch or adding to a holiday spread or food board, this apple cinnamon bread is easy to make and eager to please! Gluten-free flour, warm cinnamon and sweet-tart apple make this homespun loaf comforting, and the optional gooey glaze lends a little more sweetness if you’re so inclined. Warm up and get cozy.
Gluten-Free Apple Cinnamon Bread
Bread
- 2 cups gluten-free flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 cup low fat milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 1 egg
- 1 apple (peeled and chopped)
Optional Glaze
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 Tbsp. melted butter
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- In large mixing bowl, whisk together milk, sugar, olive oil and egg.
- Stir in flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon.
- Mix in chopped apple until well incorporated.
- Pour into three mini loaf pans.
- Bake 35 minutes, until middle is cooked through.
- If glaze is desired, in bowl, mix together powdered sugar, butter and milk. Drizzle over cooled bread.
Tips: If desired, sprinkle loaves with cinnamon-sugar before baking.
