Both the bran and the germ have been removed leaving the endosperm that is made into white flour. Organic Unbleached White Flour is not enriched and is unbleached and unbromated. This is the same high protein flour used by professional bakers and produces high, well-textured loaves of bread.

Fudgy Cacao Brownies

Fudgy Cacao Brownies
- 1/2 cup organic unsalted butter
- 1 cup organic cane sugar
- 2 large organic eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup Navitas Organics Cacao Powder
- 1/3 cup organic all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp. sea salt
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Line 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In large saucepan over low heat, melt butter. Remove from heat and whisk in sugar. Add one egg at a time, whisking each until incorporated, and finish by whisking in vanilla until smooth.
- Stir in cacao powder, flour, salt and baking powder. Pour into prepared pan and spread out evenly.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until batter is just set.
- Let cool completely, then cut into desired size.
