Castile soap is an olive oil based soap that is made free of animal fats and synthetic ingredients. It originated in the Castile region of Spain around the 16th century and is not only environmentally friendly but also incredibly effective for many uses. While many castile soaps have evolved to include other plant based oils, Brittanie's Thyme still uses olive oil as its main ingredient.
Ways To Use
Hands or Body: Place small amount on cloth or in hands, lather, rinse and dry.
Laundry: 1/3-1/2 C. depending on load size.
Mop Floors: 13/ C. per 1 gal. hot water
All Purpose Cleaning: Mix 1 part soap to 3 parts water in spray bottle.
Fruits & Veggies: Dilute 1:10 with water. Add a drop of soap to bowl of water to remove residue. Rinse clean.
Garden: Mix 1 part soap to 3 parts water in spray bottle. Spray on plants and watch bugs slide off!
Makeup Brush: Mix 1 drop to warm water, soak and rinse clean.
