Peanut Butter & Banana Protein Cookies
If you have peanut butter and a banana, you’ve got a healthy snack on hand. This simple combo provides protein, fat, carbohydrates and fiber on top of the many essential vitamins and minerals your hard-working body needs. Bananas are easy to tote around, as is that always-half-empty jar of peanut butter you love so dearly. So how, in the name of Elvis, could this perfect pair get any better? Add two ingredients and you’ll find out for yourself. Shake, rattle and roll that dough!
Ingredients
1 ripe banana
¼ cup peanut butter (chunky preferred)
1 Tbsp. coconut sugar
3 scoops vanilla protein powder
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat a baking sheet with non-stick spray.
- In a medium bowl, mash together banana, peanut butter and coconut sugar until well combined.
- Stir in protein powder until fully incorporated.
- Spoon dough onto prepared baking sheet. Bake 12 minutes, or until cookies start to turn golden.
