What's Inside
Unsweetened chocolate
Our Unsweetened Chocolate is comprised of Cocoa Liquor (non-Alcoholic) and Cocoa Butter (non-dairy of course). Both these ingredients come simply from grinding down a cocoa bean – nothing else is added to it.
Cocoa butter
Cocoa Butter, despite its name, is dairy-free. After the cocoa bean is extracted from the shell, the bean is then ground into a liquid called Cocoa/Chocolate Liquor. From that point, the fat is extracted from the liquor, which is called Cocoa Butter (non-dairy of course). Once the Cocoa Butter is removed, all that remains is Cocoa Powder
Cane sugar
Cane sugar is an alternative to refined sugar. While both sweeteners are made from sugar cane, cane sugar juice does not undergo the same degree of processing that refined sugar does and therefore retains a few more nutrients.

‘Monster Cookie’ No-Bake Granola Bars

Packed with wholesome oats, creamy almond butter, crunchy almonds, chocolate chips and candy-coated gems, they’re like monster cookies turned into a better-for-you bar. And these are no-bake granola bars, so you can whip them up in minutes without turning on the oven. Kid-approved, lunchbox-ready and just right for after-school munchies or weekly meal prep, these fun bars check every box.
‘Monster Cookies’ No-Bake Granola Bars
Wet
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 cup creamy almond butter
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
Dry
- 1/4 tsp. sea salt
- 3 cups rolled oats
- 1/2 cup unsalted raw almonds (chopped )
Add-ins
- 1/4 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup chocolate gem candies
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line 9-inch square pan with parchment.
- On lined pan, spread out oats and almonds and bake 8–10 minutes until lightly toasted. Remove and set aside.
- In large bowl, combine coconut oil, honey, almond butter, brown sugar and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
- To bowl, add toasted oats, almonds and salt. Mix well to coat everything. Let mixture cool 5 minutes. (Note: This will ensure that chocolate added in next step will not melt.)
- Fold in mini chocolate chips and gem candies. (Note: To check if mixture will bind, pinch small amount between fingers. If it sticks together easily, it’s ready. If it crumbles apart, stir in 1–2 more tablespoons of honey or almond butter.)
- Transfer mixture into lined pan (or granola bar mold for evenly shaped bars.) If using pan, spread evenly, cover with parchment, and press down very firmly using bottom of a measuring cup. If using a mold, press mixture tightly into each cavity. Refrigerate at least 1-2 hours.
- Lift bars out of pan using parchment and cut into 12 bars, or simply pop bars out if using mold. Store in airtight container in refrigerator up to 2 weeks or in freezer up to 3 months. Place parchment between stacked bars to prevent sticking.
