Frontier Co-op® Psyllium, also known as blonde psyllium, is a low-growing herb native to Iran, Pakistan and India. It is the main ingredient in the commercial dietary supplements "Metamucil" and "Citrucel." Psyllium is most commonly known and used for its high mucilage content. Frontier® Psyllium Husk Powder works well for baking, encapsulating and making herbal preparations. Our bulk psyllium husk powder is kosher certified and non-irradiated.

If you experience chest pain, vomiting, or difficulty in swallowing or breathing after taking this product, seek immediate medical attention. Take with at least 8 ounces of liquid. Contraindicated in bowel obstruction; take other drugs one hour prior to consumption of psyllium.
