Scent:  Lavender Lemon - light, crisp and airy scent of summer

100% Natural! Vegan Probiotic Magnesium Deodorant Cream - baking soda free!

Our deodorant is a "dry" cream, so it won't make your fingers or clothing all greasy like some natural cream deodorants. It will glide on and result in a powdery finish without unwanted clumps of deodorant.

Your underarms, whether a man, woman or child, are very delicate, and the pores in that area function as a disposal site for bacteria and toxins while it is releasing moisture (sweat) to cool you down. They should never be clogged or prevented from releasing moisture!  Commercial antiperspirants are clad with chemicals such as Triclosan to kill bacteria, and Alumimum to prevent sweating.

Your skin is capable of absorbing up to 70% of everything that gets on it!  That means toxins!  I keep that in mind when I am formulating and creating products for my customers.  Because I know that the skin is so incredibly unique and porous, I use that as an advantage to getting the good stuff in!

Free Of
Aluminum, baking soda, triclosan, artificial fragrances.

I Tried Lemon as Deodorant – Here's How it Went

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Lemons are no stranger to a healthy lifestyle. I’m sure you’ve added lemon to your morning water, made a zesty salad dressing or possibly used them to naturally brighten skin tone. The benefits and uses of lemons are endless, but one of its lesser known abilities is as a deodorant. How could a garden variety lemon possibly do the work of a scientifically formulated personal care product, and how could someone incorporate it into an everyday routine? With a little research and experimentation, I put lemon juice to the test as a deodorant. Learn the benefits of using lemon as deodorant and whether or not you should give it a try.

Benefits of Using Lemon as Deodorant

Nine years ago, I read about the power of lemon as deodorant, and I’ll admit, I was a bit skeptical. Deodorants are often filled with chemicals and still fall short at keeping you fresh. How could a simple lemon do the job of a deodorant? I decided to dedicate a weekend to the experiment so that I could keep my distance from others in case lemon failed as an odor fighter. By the end of three days, using lemon as a deodorant not only stood up to my current deodorant, but it blew it out of the water! This isn’t a magic trick. The naturally occurring citric acid in lemon juice is said to kill odor-causing bacteria. Here are more facts and benefits of using lemon as deodorant, plus the details of my experience. The naturally occurring ingredients in lemon kill odor-causing bacteria instead of just masking it. Citric acid neutralizes bacteria and prevents it from appearing. Lemons can improve skin health under your arms. Lemons have astringent properties and will tighten pores. Lemons have been known to gradually lighten skin, a possible added benefit for those whose underarm skin is darkening. Lemons are scent-free and free from a chalky residue. No more stained shirts from nameless chemicals or embarrassing armpit checks before you raise your hand. By losing the chalky film, you’re also free from chafing and painful rashes. Lastly, the price tag is an improvement over your traditional deodorants.

My Experience, Plus How You Can Make the Switch

Since making this method permanent, I prefer to use organic lemon juice in a spray bottle, which lasts for months and is easier than fresh lemons. Keep the lemon juice in the refrigerator. The juice is preservative-free and will need to be kept cold. Now there are a few caveats that you should keep in mind. This method does not work as an antiperspirant. Lemons will not help if you need something to stop the sweat. Also, lemons are citric acid and will burn if you have just freshly shaved. My personal rule of thumb is to shave at night and apply the lemon juice the next morning. The moment of truth: Do I recommend this all-natural method? Most definitely! Using lemon juice as deodorant has been a game changer for me and it’s something you could easily try. I really didn’t expect this method to work, much less work better. Throughout my journey with sensitive skin, I have learned that beauty hacks from the earth are some of the best kept secrets.
