We prepare our Valerian extract from the fresh (never dried) root and rhizome of Certified Organic Valeriana officinalis plants. The rhizome & root are harvested in autumn and are then promptly extracted while still fresh and succulent.
Flavor profile: Valerian tastes bitter, sharp and aromatic.
Directions
Shake well before using. Take up to 40 drops in 2 z. of water or juice, two to five times per day. Best taken between meals.
