All shipments to Guatemala that contain food, drugs, cosmetics, or any product for human consumption, are held in customs and are subject to physical inspections and specific requirements, such as permits and customs declaration forms. These procedures can be carried out by a DHL broker or the consignees' broker, depending on your request. If you agree to proceed with a DHL broker, you will need to provide DHL with an image of your personal ID and RTU (Guatemalan Tax ID) in order to execute any required procedures successfully once the order has arrived in Guatemala.
