Directions

Cooking: 1 cup of Khazana Basmati Rice, 2 cups of water, 1 tbsp oil and a pinch of salt.

 

Easy to Cook - Rinse measured rice 1 to 2 times to remove extra starch and drain. Follow any suitable method given here:

 

Stove Top: Place drained rice in a saucepan and add measured water, oil and salt. Place saucepan uncovered over high heat and bring to a boil. Stir occasionally. Let water reduce slightly below the rice level and then lower the heat. place a tight lid on the saucepan and simmer 20 minutes. Do not remove cover while cooking, steam cooks rice. fluff with fork and serve.

 

Rice Cooker - Place the drained rice in the cooker. Add measured water, oil and salt. cover the cooker, turn it on and cook for 30 minutes. Do not remove cover while cooking, steam cooks rice. Fluff with fork and serve.

 

Microwave - Place measured rice, oil and salt in a microwave-safe casserole. Add 2 cups of water for each cup of rice and cover. Microwave on high for 10 minutes, then stir. Cover again and microwave on defrost for 10 minutes. Fluff with fork and serve.

 

Note: Use more water for softer rice and less water for firmer rice.
