This Portuguese-influenced sauce from Goa combines “vin” (vinegar) and “alhos” (garlic) with aromatic spices to result in a robust, mouth-wateringly spicy dish.
How to Use:
Contents of jar + 1 1/4 lbs protein or veg+ 1/2 - 1 cup coconut milk = Serves 4
Sear Chicken, Meat, Seafood, Vegetables or Tofu in 2 tbsp Oil. Add sauce: rinse out the ja with 3/4 cup Stock or water and add. Cook till done; add more stock or water if too thick. Adjust salt. Serve hot with rice or naan. TIP: try with sweet potatoes!
