ABOCFA (which stands for Aponoapono Biakoye Organic Cocoa Farmer’ Association) is an organic and Fair Trade certified cooperative that is known for producing the highest quality and most transparently traded cocoa in the region. These farmers are audited regularly to ensure high ethical practices are maintained on the farms, as well as complete traceability for their cacao beans.
From Bean To Bar
Lovingly crafted by hand, small-batch chocolate is our passion. We carefully roast, winnow, and refine cacao direct from source.
Harvest: Our cacao beans are grown and harvested by hand
Ferment: Fermented for 4-7 days to develop flavor
Roast: Roasted 20-40 minutes to highlight flavor nuances
Grind: The roasted beans are stone ground for 2-4 days to create liquid chocolate
Pour: Poured into bars and individually hand wrapped

Vegan Buckeyes
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Craving something sweet and easy to make? No-bake vegan buckeyes are the perfect solution! Combining smooth peanut butter with a velvety dairy-free chocolate coating, these little bites of joy are quick to whip up and ideal for a plant-based dessert or snack.
Vegan Buckeyes
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 3 Tbsp. agave
- 1/3 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup coconut flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tsp. coconut oil
- In large bowl, mix peanut butter, honey, almond flour, coconut flour and salt until thickened.
- Using ice cream scoop, shape golf ball-sized portions and roll into balls.
- In medium bowl, add chocolate chips and coconut oil, then microwave until smooth.
- Dip balls in chocolate or drizzle with chocolate.
- Place on cookie sheet and refrigerate until chocolate solidifies.
