Mutti sun-ripened San Marzano tomatoes are grown in the Italian Argo Sarnese Nocerino region, between Napes and Salerno, and produced in accordance with all consortium guidelines so that they can feature its official seal. They are harvested when perfectly ripe, then quickly preserved to retain their fresh taste and packed in their own juice.
These canned peeled San Marzano tomatoes are the genuine article – fleshy fruit that maintains a dense texture and slightly acidic flavor from the volcanic soil. Perfect for pasta sauce and any other recipes that require whole-peeled tomatoes.
