The traditional Tibetan diet was high in meat, yak butter and alcohol with very few fruits and vegetables. Little wonder that it took a toll on their digestion. To deal with this, Tibetans developed a traditional of relying on herbs, such as Myrobalan, Elecampane, Rhubarb, and Ginger.
Myrobalan - Revered in India; used in Triphala, the Ayurvedic blend.
Elecampane - Ancient digestive herb known to the English, Greeks and Chinese
Rhubarb - Known for its balanced, normalizing action
Ginger - Widely used medicinal herb; "stomach settler"
Peppermint - Traditional digestive herb; carminative
Aloe Vera - Soothing to tissues in the gastrointestinal tract
Use only as directed. Take two VegCaps twice a day.
