These grain-free soft treats are generously packed with pumpkin and ginger to help settle upset stomachs from constipation, diarrhea or car sickness. Made with wholesome ingredients like flaxseed meal, coconut flour and coconut oil, you’ll feel good knowing they’re full of fiber, antioxidants and minerals to support overall gut health.
DIY Tummy-Soothing Dog Treats With Pumpkin & Ginger
- 1/2 cup flaxseed meal
- 1/3 cup canned pumpkin
- 6 Tbsp. coconut flour
- 6 Tbsp. water
- 1 Tbsp. coconut oil (melted)
- 1 Tbsp. ground ginger
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper or non-stick baking mat.
- In large bowl, mix together all ingredients. (Note: Dough may start sticky but will stiffen.)
- Using hands, roll dough into balls and flatten.
- Arrange on baking sheet and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until dry and slightly cracked.
- Transfer onto wire rack and let cool completely.
- Store in airtight container in refrigerator for two weeks or freeze up to four months. Frozen treats are safe for dogs with healthy teeth.
