Give Itchy Pets Relief With This Homemade Hot Spot Spray
Hot spots are superficial skin irritations of bacteria overgrowth. They can occur for a variety of reasons, a few being from insect bites, excessive chewing, licking or scratching, and food allergies. A pet’s constant attention to that spot only makes it worse, which could lead to a larger infection.
This hot spot treatment contains a powerful blend of natural ingredients that will help soothe and heal hot spots.
Topical colloidal silver offers antibacterial benefits, while
neem seed oil has antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory properties. (Neem seed oil is thick with a pungent aroma, but the essential oils will mask the intensity.)
To help speed healing, carefully trim or shave the hair around your pet’s irritation. Bacteria grows in moist areas, so allowing it to dry is essential.
