Directions

Cooking Instructions:

  1. In a large pot, add 4 quarts (16 cups) of water and 1 teaspoon of salt, if desired. Bring water to a boil.
  2. Add pasta and cook, uncovered, stirring occasionally, for about 7 to 10 minutes or until past is tender but firm. For a more al dente texture do not overcook. For a softer pasta cook a bit longer.
  3. Remove from heat. Pasta can be rinsed in cold water to prevent overcooking. Drain and serve as desired.

Taco Mac & Cheese Skillet

  • 1 lb. pasture-raised ground beef
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. cumin
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 2 cups cooked elbow pasta (regular or gluten-free)
  • 1 cup tomatoes (diced)
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro (chopped)
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (dairy or vegan)
  1. In medium skillet over medium heat, brown ground beef.
  2. Stir in seasonings and 1/3 cup water.
  3. Add cooked pasta, tomatoes and cilantro, cook for additional 5-10 minutes to heat through.
  4. Top with cheese and stir until melted. Serve warm.
