Sure, you could pop into a popular juice shop and pick up a beverage to go. But and those tasty and convenient drinks are often lacking something that really matters: balance. While an all-green juice can be a smart addition to a meal, more often than not, what you’re getting is a whopping dose of sugar without any healthy fat, protein or fiber to balance it out. Fortunately, this problem is easily remedied!
By making your own smoothie at home, you’ll not only save time and money, you'll be in complete control of what goes into the blender. Here is one of my favorite on-the-go creations, which is teeming with antioxidant-rich fruits and veggies, protein-packed seeds, anti-inflammatory spices and superfood powder. You can’t go wrong with this meal that can be sipped with a straw!

Directions
