Gluten-Free Savory Stuffing

This recipe features the warmth of toasted gluten-free bread combined with a savory, aromatic blend of thyme, rosemary and basil. Elevate your holiday feast with this savory stuffing that caters to gluten-free diets without compromising on taste.
Gluten-Free Savory Stuffing
- 10 slices gluten-free bread (well toasted, cut into cubes)
- 1 cup celery (diced)
- 1 small onion (chopped)
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 egg (whisked)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. thyme
- 1/2 tsp. crushed rosemary leaf
- 1/4 tsp. dried basil
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- In large mixing bowl, place cubed toast.
- In stock pot with water, simmer celery and onion 5 minutes; drain and add to bowl with toasted bread.
- Add remaining ingredients to the large mixing bowl. (Note: Crush spices finer, if needed.)
Stir stuffing until well incorporated and all pieces are moist. In 11x7-inch baking pan, spread out stuffing mixture.
- Bake 45 minutes, until top is browned and middle is still moist.
