It’s important to remember that oil pulling doesn’t replace tooth brushing. It simply complements it. While brushing and rinsing with water helps remove the wastes that are hydrophilic – meaning they dissolve in water – oil pulling helps remove the wastes that are lipophilic, meaning they dissolve in oil. It helps clear out the waste left behind after brushing.
With zero synthetic chemicals, this purposeful rinse is as good to our planet as it is to your oral health. Try combining it with a drop of our Ola Botanicals® Tulsi-Mint Toothpaste for a dash of aromatic flavor.
Before eating or drinking, vigorously swish one (1) tbsp. of organic oil pulling rinse in your mouth for up to 20 minutes, being careful not to swallow. When finished, spit the oil into the trash to avoid clogging your sink, and rinse your mouth well with water if desired. This rinse is recommended for adults and children, 6 years old and older.
