Directions

For a protein shake, mix 1 serving (1 scoop) with 10 oz of water or non-dairy beverage, like almond, rice or coconut beverage in a glass or shaker cup and take 1 to 2 times daily. For a meal replacement, mix 2 servings (2 scoops) with 20 oz of water or non-dairy beverage. Read the entire label before use and follow directions provided. Drink 8 to 10 glasses of water daily for general good health.

Dairy-Free Chicken Pasta With Caramelized Onions & Pine Nuts

It’s not only comforting, it’s also high in protein, gluten-free and dairy free. After just a few simple steps, you’ll be holding a bowl full of creamy pasta, mouthwatering caramelized onions and chunks of hearty chicken. If you ask us, it’s enough to soothe anyone’s soul. Dairy-Free Chicken Pasta With Caramelized Onions & Pine Nuts

Caramelized onions

  • 2 yellow onions (sliced)
  • ¼ tsp. garlic salt
  • 2 Tbsp. Nutiva buttery coconut oil
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil

Pasta

  • 1 box green lentil penne

Chicken

  • 1 lb. chicken breasts (cut into strips)
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 tsp. minced garlic
  • ½ tsp. oregano
  • ½ tsp. thyme
  • ½ tsp. dried basil
  • ¼ tsp. dried parsley
  • Dash sea salt

Dairy-free Alfredo sauce

  • ¼ cup plant-based cream cheese
  • ¼ cup vegan parmesan cheese
  • 3 Tbsp. Sproud plant-based milk

Garnish

  • Fresh pine nuts
  • Vegan parmesan
  1. In 12-inch pan or a cast iron skillet, heat coconut oil and 2 Tbsp. of olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add onions and sauté for 5 minutes or until starting to soften.
  3. Add salt, reduce heat to medium low and cook for 30 minutes, stirring every few minutes, or until onions are soft and golden brown.
  4. While onions are caramelizing, cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  5. Season chicken with spices.
  6. In separate pan, heat olive oil on medium-high heat.
  7. Add chicken and cook 8 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  8. Add Alfredo sauce ingredients; stir to combine.
  9. Add onions and cooked pasta; toss to combine.
  10. Serve topped with pine nuts and vegan parmesan.
