Golden Honey-Garlic Cauliflower Lettuce Wraps

Tender cauliflower gets caramelized in a glossy honey-garlic glaze with smoky spices and a gentle tang, then piled into crisp lettuce leaves. Every bite hits that sweet-savory sweet spot—bright, satisfying and surprisingly hearty. These vegetarian lettuce wraps feel light yet complete, perfect for easy lunches, relaxed dinners or sharing straight from the platter.
Golden Honey-Garlic Cauliflower Lettuce Wraps
Honey garlic cauliflower
- 1 large head cauliflower (cut into bite-sized florets)
- 2 Tbsp. raw honey (or maple syrup for vegan)
- 3 cloves garlic (finely minced, or 3/4 tsp. garlic powder)
- 1/4 tsp. ground turmeric
- 1 tsp. smoked paprika
- 1 tsp. Redmond Real Salt Organic Season Salt
- 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
- 2 Tbsp. Bragg Liquid Aminos (or tamari sauce)
- 1 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar (or fresh lemon juice)
- 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil (or sesame seed oil or avocado oil)
- 3 green onions (chopped, reserve dark green parts for garnish)
- Chili flakes (optional)
Lettuce wraps
- 1 large head butter lettuce (or romaine, leaves separated and washed)
- 1 cup shredded purple cabbage (optional for crunch)
- 1 small avocado (sliced, optional for creaminess)
Toppings
- Reserved dark green onion tops (thinly sliced)
- 2 Tbsp. fresh cilantro (finely chopped)
- 1-2 tsp. black sesame seeds
Optional toppings
- Chili flakes (or thinly sliced red chili)
- Fresh lime (or fresh lemon)
- In bowl, whisk together honey, garlic, turmeric, paprika, cumin, liquid aminos, apple cider vinegar, olive oil and Redmond Organic Season Salt. Set aside.
- Heat large skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Add cauliflower florets and sauté 5-7 minutes until lightly browned. Add white and green parts of green onion and cook 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Pour honey garlic sauce over cauliflower and toss to coat. Cook another 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cauliflower is tender, caramelized and golden. (Note: Optionally, finish under broiler 2-3 minutes for extra char.)
- To assemble, arrange lettuce leaves on platter. Spoon warm honey garlic cauliflower into each leaf. Add cabbage and avocado if using.
- Finish each wrap with reserved green onion tops, fresh cilantro and black sesame seeds. Serve immediately.

Pairs beautifully with a lemon-tahini drizzle or garlic-cashew sauce.
Leftover cauliflower is delicious over greens or in a bowl the next day.
