It’s the ultimate taco mac recipe packed with seasoned beef, tomato, cilantro, pasta and gooey cheese.
Taco Mac & Cheese Skillet
- 1 lb. pasture-raised ground beef
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1 Tbsp. cumin
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/3 cup water
- 2 cups cooked elbow pasta (regular or gluten-free)
- 1 cup tomatoes (diced)
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro (chopped)
- 2 cups shredded cheese (dairy or vegan)
- In medium skillet over medium heat, brown ground beef.
- Stir in seasonings and 1/3 cup water.
- Add cooked pasta, tomatoes and cilantro, cook for additional 5-10 minutes to heat through.
- Top with cheese and stir until melted. Serve warm.
