  • USDA Certified Biobased Product

Dishes should be odorless and clean after you wash them, right? We think so, too. That's why Seventh Generation Free & Clear Dish Detergent Gel uses plant-based enzyme blends for high cleaning power without the use of dyes and fragrances. This dish soap is free of phosphates and chlorine bleach, and it's biodegradable, so you can always feel good about what you dish out.

For more than 25 years, Seventh Generation has been thoughtfully formulating safe and effective plant-based products that work. Really well. Our dishwashing detergent uses powerful plant-based ingredients like surfactants and enzymes to break down tough residue and lift away food, leaving your dishes sparkling clean. So, how does it all work? The enzymes cut through grease and food by breaking down starch and protein-based residue while the surfactants remove dirt and grease by holding the molecules in suspension, so they can wash away. Yes, even those fussy egg stains.

DIY plastic and molded resin cleaner: Method: All-purpose cleaner method: Spray or apply your cleaner to all dirty areas. Then use something minimally abrasive like a sponge or damp cloth to wipe it down and clean off the more stubborn areas. Rinse with hose. Let dry in the sun. Sponge method: Simply dip a sponge in warm water, give it a good squeeze, then add a sprinkle of baking soda. Wipe down your furniture until clean. Rinse with a hose and let dry fully in the sun. Wrought iron and metal

Products:
  • ¼ cup dish detergent
  • 1-gallon warm water
  • Optional: metal primer
  • Optional: metal-appropriate paint
Methods: For non-rusted furniture:
    1. If your furniture is still holding up pretty well and just needs a clean, mix together water and dish detergent and scrub onto the furniture with a tough (but not too tough) scrub brush. Rinse with a hose and let dry.
For rusted furniture:
    1. Clean all surfaces using the above steps.
    2. Once fully dry, use a wire brush or sandpaper to remove rust until the bare metal is exposed.
    3. Using some naphtha or mineral spirits, wipe off residual metal.
    4. Apply metal primer to the bare metal and let dry.
    5. Apply matching paint until the bare metal is completely covered. Air dry.

Fabric cushions

Removable covers: If your cushion covers are removable, simply take them off and wash them according to directions on tag. Put the covers back on the cushions while still damp to ensure they maintain their shape and size. For non-removable cushion covers, create a mixture of water with a little dish detergent. Put the mixture all over the cushion and scrub with a sponge or soft scrub brush until clean. Rinse off with a hose and let dry in the sun. Make sure to flip the cushions over on occasion to get all sides completely dry.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_text_separator title="Featured Products" border_width="2"][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width="2/12"][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width="3/12"][vc_single_image image="161437" img_size="full" onclick="custom_link" img_link_target="_blank" link="https://www.vitacost.com/full-circle-grunge-buster-grout-tile-brush"][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width="2/12"][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width="3/12"][vc_single_image image="161438" img_size="full" onclick="custom_link" img_link_target="_blank" link="https://www.vitacost.com/method-wood-for-good-daily-clean-almond-28-fl-oz"][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width="2/12"][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row]
