With it's mellow, nutty flavor & chewy texture, Hard Red Winter Wheat is a versatile all-purpose grain well-suited to both sweet & savory dishes. High in protein & fiber, wheat is a great source of minerals.
Directions: Sort and rinse. Bring 3 cups water & 1 cup wheat to a boil. Reduce & simmer, covered, for 1-1 1/2 hours, or until grain is tender.
Suggested Uses:

Grind into a high protein flour ideal for breads & other yeast-risen baked goods.
