Softer Crust
Remove crust from package and place on baking sheet. Top wth your favorite ingredients.
Bake in a preheated 400ºF oven 8 to 12 minutes or until cheese in the center is melted and the crust is golden brown. Carefully remove from oven and let stand 5 minutes before serving.
Crispier Crust
Remove crust from package and top with your favorite ingredients.
Place directly on center rack in a preheated 400ºF oven 8 to 12 minutes or until cheese in the center is melted and the crust is golden brown.
Carefully remove from oven and let stand 5 minutes before serving.
Refrigerate any leftovers.
Refrigerate after opening.
Prepare according to cooking instructions.

Grilled Vegetable Pizza With Balsamic Sauce

This grilled vegetable pizza throws a flavor party with seasonal veggies, a tangy balsamic sauce and a surprising cheese choice (Gruyere or Swiss!). Don't forget the star of the show: a kick of superior spices thanks to Frontier Co-op's amazing herbs (think marjoram, rosemary and basil). Feel free to swap the veggies and cheese for your favorites – just keep the party vibes going!
Grilled Vegetable Pizza With Balsamic Sauce
- 1 12-inch pizza crust (homemade or packaged)
- 1-1/3 cups grated Gruyere or Swiss cheese
Grilled vegetables
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/8 tsp. Frontier Co-op Organic Garlic Powder
- 1 small green pepper (sliced)
- 8 grape tomatoes (halved)
- 1/2 small eggplant (sliced in rounds and then halved)
- 1/2 small red onion (cut in small wedges)
Balsamic tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup tomato paste
- 1 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. Frontier Co-op Sweet Basil
- 1/2 tsp. Frontier Co-op Organic Oregano
- 1/4 tsp. Frontier Co-op Organic Rosemary
- 1/4 tsp. Frontier Co-op Marjoram
- Preheat oven to 475 degrees F.
- Place prepped vegetables on grilling mat or equivalent.
- In small bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce and garlic powder. Brush mixture on vegetables. On grill over medium flame, cook vegetables until browned and tender.
- In bowl, combine tomato paste, balsamic vinegar, basil, oregano, rosemary and marjoram. Spread sauce on prepared pizza crust. Top with grilled vegetables followed by cheese.
- Bake 15-18 minutes, until cheese is melted and crust is lightly browned.
Substitute with any favorite seasonal vegetables. Grilling vegetables brings out the sweetness, complementing the spicy balsamic sauce. Feel free to vary the cheese; Provolone and feta work well.
