No-Bake Protein Bar Recipe

Made with simple, whole-food ingredients, they're perfect as pre-workout fuel, for post-workout recovery or as a satisfying mid-day snack. Customize them to your taste by adding your favorite nuts, seeds or chocolate chips. Let's get started!
No-Bake Protein Bar Recipe
Oatmeal
- 1/4 cup coconut milk beverage or milk of choice
- 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1/2 cup Codeage Beef Protein Isolate
- 1/2 cup natural peanut butter or nut/seed butter of choice
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. sea salt
Optional Add-Ins
- 1/4 cup dried fruit (nuts, or a mix of both)
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (carob chips, or coconut flakes)
- In large bowl, combine rolled oats, cinnamon, salt and beef protein powder.
- Add peanut butter, honey, vanilla and stir to combine. (Note: If necessary, warm peanut butter in microwave for a few seconds to soften.)
- Slowly add milk, stirring until it reaches a sticky texture and everything is well-combined.
- Fold in dark chocolate chips, nuts or dried fruit, as desired.
- Line 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, and press mixture into pan until evenly distributed.
- Refrigerate 1 to 2 hours or until firm.
- Cut into bars and store in airtight container in the fridge.
