Black Currant Oatmeal Bowl
Sometimes the simplest ingredients pack the biggest punch. In the case of this oatmeal recipe,
black currant preserves are the secret weapon. It adds a stunning purple color and tart, earthy flavors, making your morning
oatmeal irresistible to the senses. Start with two tablespoons per serving, and add a third if you crave a more concentrated currant flavor. For a heartier bowl, add
nuts,
seeds or fresh or dried fruit. To cut the tartness, try a spoonful of coconut cream or dairy-free yogurt.
