Here’s a double-whammy recipe that will both satisfy your sweet tooth and replenish collagen production at the same time (we bet that’s a bonus you didn’t expect)!
Collagen is the most plentiful protein in the human body. It’s tasked with maintaining the strength and flexibility of the skin, hair, nails, joints, tendons, ligaments, bones, blood vessels and other tissues. As we age, collagen production begins to decrease. Results are often evident in the form of sagging skin, wrinkles, cellulite and joint pain.
Fortunately, the taut skin and lustrous locks of your youth don’t have to be a distant memory. There are many products designed to help replenish the body’s dwindling collagen supply—and in this case, it can be extremely delicious!
Complete with all the right textures and flavors, these tasty bars are sweet, salty and crunchy. Plus, they’re easy as 1-2-3 to make! Simply prepare a few ingredients, let the chocolatey fudge set, then slice and serve—it’s that simple!
Ingredients
12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
14 oz. condensed milk
2 scoops ReserveageTM Nutrition Collagen Replenish Powder
3/4 cup coarsely chopped pretzels (optional: plus extra for topping)
Directions
1. Line 8" x 8" pan with parchment paper and spray with non-stick cooking spray.
2. In microwave-safe bowl, add chocolate chips and condensed milk. Microwave for 60 seconds. Stir. If needed, continue to microwave and stir in 15 second intervals until chocolate is melted. Do not overheat.
