Homemade Goldfish Crackers

With just a handful of simple ingredients — cheddar, gluten-free flour, butter and a pinch of savory spices — you’ll have a fun, family-friendly snack that’s every bit as nostalgic as the original, but fresher and better-for-you. Roll out the dough, grab a goldfish-shaped cutter (or get creative with whatever you have on hand!) and watch these little crackers puff and crisp to golden perfection. Perfect for lunchboxes, after-school nibbles or late-night munchies, these homemade goldfish are guaranteed to bring big smiles in every bite.

Homemade Goldfish Crackers
- 2 cups cheddar cheese (shredded)
- 1 cup measure for measure gluten-free flour
- 6 Tbsp. butter (cold & cubed)
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. onion powder
- 1 tsp. sea salt
- 1-2 Tbsp. cold water
- In food processor, add cheese, flour, butter and salt. Pulse ingredients together until well incorporated. If dough is dry add 1-2 tablespoons cold water until dough comes together and doesn't look dry anymore.
- Cool dough in fridge for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and line baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll dough on parchment paper or floured surface to ?-inch thickness. Using goldfish cookie cutter, create crackers. Add goldfish to baking tray and sprinkle with sea salt.
- Bake 10-14 minutes or until goldfish bottoms are slightly browned.
- Store in ziplock bag or airtight container for 4-5 days.
