Frontier Co-Op Kosher Flake Sea Salt Description
Sprinkle a pinch of our kosher flaked sea salt to perfectly finish a dish. Many recipes and chefs call specifically for kosher salt due to the unique shape of its flat crystals and the more rounded, less harshly alkaline flavor it has over ordinary table salt. The increased surface area of these flakes helps the salt adhere beautifully to foods such as pretzels, breads and salted caramels. Unlike some brands of kosher salt, our bulk kosher salt flakes are actually made from real ocean water.

Vanilla Crème Crepes With Strawberry-Poppy Seed Topping
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Ready in just 30 minutes, these vanilla crème crepes are the perfect balance of light and decadent. Each bite combines soft crepes, creamy yogurt filling, bursts of juicy berries, and a hint of crunch from poppy seeds—making them a beautiful treat to serve for brunch or a sweet ending to any meal.
Vanilla Crème Crepes With Strawberry-Poppy Seed Topping
Crepe
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp. sea salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1 Tbsp. melted butter
- 2 Tbsp. maple syrup
Filling
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp. poppy seeds
- 2 Tbsp. maple syrup
- 2 cups sliced strawberries
- In large bowl, combine flour, sea salt, eggs, milk, butter and 2 tablespoons maple syrup. Whisk until smooth. Heat 8-inch non-stick pan over medium-low heat.
- Place 1/4 cup of batter in pan. Swirl pan so batter covers entire bottom of pan in thin layer.
- Cook for about 1 minute, until edges begin to peel away from sides of pan and look golden. Flip and cook for another 30 seconds. Layer crepes on plate, continuing until all batter is gone.
- While crepes are cooking, make vanilla crème. In small bowl combine Greek yogurt, vanilla extract, poppy seeds and remaining 2 tablespoons maple syrup; stir to combine.
- Spread thin layer of filling over each crepe along with couple strawberry slices. Fold crepes and repeat with remaining crepes and filling. Divide crepes onto four plates and top with remaining strawberries, poppy seeds, and drizzle of maple syrup.
